The Huntington Highlanders volleyball squad (Huntington, WV), dropped 2-0 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Herbert Hoover Huskies (Elkview, WV)

The Huskies (23-2) will now prepare for their contest against Poca (Poca, WV). The The Dots enter the non-league contest with a 18-0 record. In their last contest, Poca notched a victory over Roane County (Spencer, WV), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Highlanders battle the Hurricane Redskins (Hurricane, WV) in a Mountain State contest, on Thursday, September 25. Huntington will attempt to move on its 5-11 season record. The Redskins enter the contest with a 7-10 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to St. Albans (St. Albans, WV).
