Alabama High School Volleyball - Thompson can't hold off Hoover

The Hoover Buccaneers tipped the host Thompson Warriors volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Buccaneers confront the Oak Mountain Eagles (Birmingham, AL) in a 7A Area 6 game, on Tuesday, September 30. Hoover will attempt to advance on its 12-16 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 14-13 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Northridge (Tuscaloosa, AL).

With the loss, Thompson drops to 18-6 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Huntsville (Huntsville, AL) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 30. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 23-6. Huntsville won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Lindsay Lane Christian Academy (Athens, AL)
