The Alleghany Cougars prevailed the visiting Floyd County Buffaloes volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Cougars now have a 12-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carroll County for a non-league test on Thursday, September 28. Alleghany will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Radford (Radford, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 0-7.
The Buffaloes (6-6) will now prepare for their test against James River (Buchanan, VA). The Knights enter the non-league test with a 8-4 record. In their last test, James River dropped by Glenvar (Salem, VA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
