The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the James Monroe Mavericks (Lindside, WV) and the visiting Pocahontas County Warriors (Dunmore, WV), saw James Monroe's soccer squad beat Pocahontas County by a count of 7-3.

The Mavericks now hold a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Bluefield for a Coalfield AA test on Thursday, September 28. James Monroe will meet a Beavers squad coming off a 4-1 league loss to Shady Spring (Shady Spring, WV). The Beavers record now stands at 5-8.
