The Greeley West Spartans softball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Longmont Trojans to 3 in the Spartans league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Greeley West moves its record to 15-4 on the year. The Spartans host Holy Family (Broomfield, CO) to clash with the Tigers in a 4A NCAA game on Thursday, September 28. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 19-1. Holy Family won 2-1 in their recent league game against Windsor (Windsor, CO)

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Pomona Panthers (Arvada, CO) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 29. Longmont will attempt to move on its 10-10 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 14-4 record after their 10-1 league win over Standley Lake (Westminster, CO).
