The Staley Falcons softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Lee's Summit Tigers to 9 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Staley moves its record to 14-11 on the year. The Falcons host Park Hill (Kansas City, MO) to play the Trojans in a Class 4 District 16 game on Thursday, September 28. The Trojans come into the game with a record of 9-10. Park Hill won 11-1 in their recent league game against Park Hill South (Riverside, MO)

In their next game, the Tigers play the Truman Patriots (Independence, MO) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, September 27. Lee's Summit will attempt to move on its 6-20 season record. The Patriots come into the game with a 9-16 record after their 17-8 non-league win over Oak Park (Kansas City, MO).
