Pueblo Centennial Bulldogs (Pueblo, CO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Pueblo South Colts (Pueblo, CO), 9-7 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 9-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pueblo Central for a 4A South Central challenge on Thursday, September 28. Pueblo Centennial will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 13-1 league win over Pueblo East (Pueblo, CO). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-13.

With the loss, Pueblo South falls to 6-13 on the campaign. The Colts travel to Pueblo West (Pueblo West, CO) to battle the Cyclones in a 4A South Central challenge on Thursday, September 28. The Cyclones enter the challenge with a record of 14-5. Pueblo West lost 7-5 in their recent league challenge against Pueblo County (Pueblo, CO)
