Pueblo South Colts (Pueblo, CO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Pueblo Centennial Bulldogs (Pueblo, CO), 11-5 in a league challenge.

The Colts now sport a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rampart for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 9. Pueblo South will face a Rams squad coming off a 16-1 non-league loss to Lewis-Palmer (Monument, CO). The Rams record now stands at 2-12.

With the loss, Pueblo Centennial falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host The Classical Academy (Colorado Springs, CO) to face the Titans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 9. The Titans enter the challenge with a record of 3-2. The Classical Academy won 23-2 in their recent league challenge against Sand Creek (Colorado Springs, CO)
