The Jonesboro Cardinals (Jonesboro, GA) volleyball overcame the host Lovejoy Wildcats (Lovejoy, GA), 2-0 in Tuesday's league outing.

With the win, Jonesboro upgrades its record to 17-14 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Forest Park (Forest Park, GA) to play the Panthers in a 6A Area 3 outing on Monday, October 2. The Panthers go into the outing with a record of 13-8.

The Wildcats now own a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rockdale County for a 6A Area 3 test on Tuesday, September 26. Lovejoy will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 league win over Forest Park (Forest Park, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-7.
