The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Jonesboro Cardinals (Jonesboro, GA) and the host Lovejoy Wildcats (Lovejoy, GA), saw Jonesboro's volleyball squad beat Lovejoy by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Jonesboro upgrades its record to 20-16 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Forest Park (Forest Park, GA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 30. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 14-8. Forest Park won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Cedar Grove (Ellenwood, GA)

The Wildcats now own a 11-8 record. They play next when they host Alcovy for a 6A Area 3 bout on Tuesday, October 3.
