Wayne County War Eagles (Waynesboro, MS) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Laurel Golden Tornadoes (Laurel, MS), 3-1 in a league match.

Next up, the War Eagles battle the Northeast Jones Tigers (Laurel, MS) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 28. Wayne County will attempt to advance on its 4-19 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 19-8 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Forest (Forest, MS).

With the loss, Laurel drops to 1-14 on the campaign.
