Illinois High School Volleyball - Lincoln-Way East can't hold off Lincoln-Way Central

September 26, 2023: New Lenox, IL 60451

In Tuesday's league battle, the host Lincoln-Way Central Knights volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Lincoln-Way East Griffins.

The Knights (11-7) will now prepare for their battle against Lockport (Lockport, IL). The Porters come into the SouthWest Suburban battle with a 17-5 record. In their last battle, Lockport nudged Andrew (Tinley Park, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Griffins clash with the Lincoln-Way West Warriors (New Lenox, IL) in a SouthWest Suburban battle, on Thursday, September 28. Lincoln-Way East will attempt to advance on its 12-8 season record. The Warriors come into the battle with a 18-5 record after their 2-0 league win over Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL).
