The Mountain Ridge Sentinels (Herriman, UT) soccer nipped the host Copper Hills Grizzlies (West Jordan, UT), 2-1 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Sentinels now hold a 14-1 record. They play next when they travel to Salt Lake Academy for a 6A Region 2 challenge on Thursday, October 3.

With the loss, Copper Hills moves to 12-4 on the year. The Grizzlies host Herriman (West Herriman, UT) to encounter the Mustangs in a 6A Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, October 1. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a record of 10-6. Herriman lost 2-1 in their recent league challenge against Corner Canyon (Draper, UT)
