In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Clarksdale Wildcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Yazoo City Indians.
The Wildcats (12-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Greenville (Greenville, MS). The Hornets enter the Class 5A Region 2 challenge with a 7-8 record. In their last challenge, Greenville was beaten by West Bolivar (Rosedale, MS), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Indians meet the Amanda Elzy Panthers (Greenwood, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 30. Yazoo City will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Winona (Winona, MS).
