The Palatine Pirates topped the visiting Conant Cougars volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Pirates face the Schaumburg Saxons (Schaumburg, IL) in a Mid-Suburban game, on Tuesday, October 1. Palatine will attempt to advance on its 12-7 season record. The Saxons go into the game with a 3-15 record after their 2-0 league loss to Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL).

The Cougars (6-16) will now prepare for their game against Barrington (Barrington, IL). The Fillies/Broncos go into the Mid-Suburban game with a 14-4 record. In their last game, Barrington went down by Fremd (Palatine, IL), 2-0, in a league game.
