In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Northeast Guilford Rams volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the High Point Central Bison.

The Rams (5-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 8-9 record. In their last challenge, Southeast Guilford beat Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bison play the Rockingham County Cougars (Wentworth, NC) in a Mid-State 3A challenge, on Tuesday, October 1. High Point Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-16 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 14-3 record after their 3-1 league win over Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC).
