The Northeast Guilford Rams (McLeansville, NC) volleyball were victorious over the visiting High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC), 3-1 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Rams now possess a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Lexington for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 4. Northeast Guilford will clash with a Yellowjackets team coming off a 3-0 league win over South Davidson (Denton, NC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, High Point Central drops to 0-8 on the campaign. The Bison travel to Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC) to clash with the Cougars in a Mid-State 3A bout on Thursday, September 5. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 6-3. Rockingham County won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC)
