Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Northern Huskies (Accident, MD) and the host Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD), observed Northern's volleyball team top Mountain Ridge by a count of 3-0.

The Huskies (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Hill (Cumberland, MD). The Sentinels enter the Appalachian Mountain contest with a 3-1 record.

Next, the Miners battle the Fort Hill Sentinels (Cumberland, MD) in a Appalachian Mountain contest, on Monday, September 30. Mountain Ridge will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Sentinels enter the contest with a 3-1 record after their 3-1 league win over Southern (Oakland, MD).
