    In Friday's league game, the Tomball Cougars (Tomball, TX) football team triumphed over the host Magnolia West Mustangs (Magnolia, TX), by a tally of 48-7.

    In their next game, the Cougars battle the Klein Bearkats (Klein, TX) in a 6A Region II District 15 game, on Friday, October 3. Tomball will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Bearkats enter the game with a 4-1 record after their 36-30 league loss to Klein Collins (Spring, TX).

    With the defeat, Magnolia West drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Klein (Klein, TX) to clash with the Bearkats in a 6A Region II District 15 game on Thursday, October 9. The Bearkats enter the game with a record of 4-1.
