Rifle Bears (Rifle, CO) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Durango Demons (Durango, CO), 5-3 in a non-league battle.

The Bears now possess a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Durango for a non-league battle on Friday, September 26. Rifle will confront a Demons team coming off a 13-3 league loss to Palisade (Palisade, CO). The Demons record now stands at 7-5.
