Texas High School Volleyball - Bridge City can't get by Lumberton

Lumberton Raiders (Lumberton, TX) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Bridge City Cardinals (Bridge City, TX), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, Lumberton advances its record to 29-5 on the season. The Raiders host Little Cypress-Mauriceville (Orange, TX) to play the Bears in a 4A Region III District 18 challenge on Tuesday, September 30. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 30-7. Little Cypress-Mauriceville won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Vidor (Vidor, TX)

Next, the Cardinals play the Silsbee Tigers (Silsbee, TX) in a 4A Region III District 18 challenge, on Tuesday, September 30. Bridge City will attempt to upgrade on its 26-10 season record.
