Illinois High School Volleyball - Jefferson Freeport

In Friday's league match, the Freeport Pretzels (Freeport, IL) volleyball squad overcame the host Jefferson J-Hawks (Rockford, IL), by a count of 2-0.

The Pretzels (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against Guilford (Rockford, IL). The Vikings enter the Northern Illinois NIC-10 contest with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Guilford notched a victory over Central (Burlington, IL), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

The J-Hawks now own a 2-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belvidere for a Northern Illinois NIC-10 battle on Tuesday, September 30. Jefferson will encounter a Bucs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL). The Bucs record now stands at 4-12.
