The Montezuma-Cortez Panthers held off the visiting Pagosa Springs Pirates volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's league test.

The Panthers now have a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bayfield for a test on Tuesday, October 4.

The Pirates (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Centauri (La Jara, CO). The Falcons enter the test with a 1-0 record.
