The Anahuac Panthers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Buna Cougars to 0 in the Panthers league victory on Tuesday.

The Panthers now have a 20-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Orangefield for a 3A Region III District 22 game on Friday, September 30. Anahuac will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 3-0 league win over Kountze (Kountze, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 19-12.

The Cougars (21-13) will now prepare for their game against Kirbyville (Kirbyville, TX). The Wildcats enter the 3A Region III District 22 game with a 10-9 record. In their last game, Kirbyville dropped by Hardin (Hardin, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
