The Deweyville Pirates topped the visiting West Hardin Oilers volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league test.
The Pirates now have a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hull-Daisetta for a 2A Region III District 24 test on Friday, September 30. Deweyville will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 3-1 league win over West Hardin (Saratoga, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 18-8.
The Oilers (16-12) will now prepare for their test against Evadale (Evadale, TX). The Rebels enter the 2A Region III District 24 test with a 10-19 record. In their last test, Evadale gained a win over Sabine Pass (Sabine Pass, TX), 3-0, in a league test.
