The North Cross Raiders volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Roanoke Catholic Celtics to 0 in the Raiders league victory on Wednesday.
The Raiders now have a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lynchburg HomeSchool for a game on Friday, September 29. North Cross will meet a Patriots team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Coastal HomeSchool (Pembroke, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 5-6.
The Celtics (1-10) will now prepare for their game against New Covenant (Lynchburg, VA). The Gryphons enter the game with a 8-6 record. In their last game, New Covenant gained a win over Grace Christian (Staunton, VA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
