The Cherokee Warriors softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Osborne Cardinals to 0 in the Warriors league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Cherokee moves its record to 11-7 on the year. The Warriors host Lassiter (Marietta, GA) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league game on Friday, September 29. The Trojans come into the game with a record of 18-1. Lassiter won 7-2 in their recent league game against Sprayberry (Marietta, GA)

In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the South Cobb Eagles (Austell, GA) in a non-league game, on Monday, October 2. Osborne will attempt to move on its 3-14 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 3-15 record after their 18-1 league loss to Riverwood (Sandy Springs, GA).
