In Wednesday's league contest, the Traverse City Central Trojans (Traverse City, MI) volleyball squad knocked off the host Petoskey Northmen (Petoskey, MI), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Trojans battle the Kalamazoo Christian Comets (Kalamazoo, MI) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 30. Traverse City Central will attempt to better on its 20-5 season record. The Comets come into the contest with a 12-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Fennville (Fennville, MI).

With the loss, Petoskey drops to 7-5 on the campaign. The Northmen travel to Gaylord (Gaylord, MI) to battle the Blue Devils in a Big North contest on Wednesday, October 4. The Blue Devils come into the contest with a record of 13-8.
