The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the St. Monica Mariners (Santa Monica, CA) and the visiting St. Paul Swordsmen (Santa Fe Springs, CA), saw St. Monica's volleyball squad beat St. Paul by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, St. Monica upgrades its record to 12-9 on the year. The Mariners travel to University (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, September 29. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 14-10. University won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Westchester (Los Angeles, CA)

The Swordsmen now hold a 4-14 record. They take the field next when they host St. Genevieve for a Camino Real match on Tuesday, October 3. St. Paul will battle a Valiants squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to St. Monica (Santa Monica, CA). The Valiants record now stands at 3-13.
