The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the St. Monica Mariners (Santa Monica, CA) and the host St. Paul Swordsmen (Santa Fe Springs, CA), saw St. Monica's volleyball squad beat St. Paul by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, St. Monica upgrades its record to 4-2 on the year. The Mariners host Paraclete (Lancaster, CA) to play the Spirits in a Camino Real bout on Thursday, September 7. The Spirits go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Paraclete lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Alemany (Mission Hills, CA)

The Swordsmen now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to St. Genevieve for a Camino Real bout on Thursday, September 7. St. Paul will play a Valiants squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Sacred Heart of Jesus (Los Angeles, CA). The Valiants record now stands at 2-8.
