Fans at Friday's league contest between the Whitehouse Wildcats (Whitehouse, TX) and the host Mt. Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, TX), observed Whitehouse's volleyball team top Mt. Pleasant by a tally of 3-0.

The Wildcats (27-8) will now prepare for their contest against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, TX). The Fightin' Indians enter the 5A Region II District 10 contest with a 14-14 record. In their last contest, Jacksonville was beaten by Lufkin (Lufkin, TX), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Tigers meet the Nacogdoches Dragons (Nacogdoches, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 11. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to upgrade on its 4-20 season record.
