Fans at Saturday's league battle between the Wellington Dukes (Wellington, OH) and the visiting Brookside Cardinals (Sheffield, OH), saw Wellington's soccer squad triumph over Brookside by a score of 9-4.

The Dukes (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Firelands (Oberlin, OH). The Falcons enter the Lorain County 8 test with a 11-2 record. In their last test, Firelands nipped Clearview (Lorain, OH), 10-0, in a league test.

The Cardinals now sport a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Open Door Christian for a non-league test on Monday, September 29. Brookside will meet a Patriots team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Mansfield Christian (Mansfield, OH). The Patriots record now stands at 7-4.
