Illinois High School Volleyball - Urbana Champaign Central

Champaign Central Maroons (Champaign, IL) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Urbana Tigers (Urbana, IL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Maroons (5-18) will now prepare for their challenge against Bloomington (Bloomington, IL). The Purple Raiders come into the Big Twelve challenge with a 4-10 record.

Next, the Tigers face the Danville Vikings (Danville, IL) in a Big Twelve test, on Monday, September 29. Urbana will attempt to advance on its 3-12 season record. The Vikings go into the test with a 2-17 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Iroquois West (Gilman, IL).
