Alaska High School Volleyball - South Anchorage over West Anchorage

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the South Anchorage Wolverines (Anchorage, AK) and the host West Anchorage Eagles (Anchorage, AK), observed South Anchorage's volleyball team achieve victory over West Anchorage by a score of 2-0.

With the win, South Anchorage improves its record to 21-3 on the season. The Wolverines host Kenai Central (Kenai, AK) to encounter the Kardinals in a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. The Kardinals go into the test with a record of 13-3. Kenai Central won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Nikiski (Nikiski, AK)

The Eagles now own a 2-18 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chugiak for a 4A Cook Inlet challenge on Tuesday, September 30. West Anchorage will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Dimond (Anchorage, AK). The Mustangs record now stands at 14-6.
