Next, the Patriots confront the West Columbus Vikings (Cerro Gordo, NC) in a Waccamaw 1A/2A challenge, on Monday, October 3. Pender will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 2-0 league loss to Whiteville (Whiteville, NC).

The Gators now possess a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Columbus for a Waccamaw 1A/2A challenge on Monday, October 3. East Columbus will confront a Stallions team coming off a 10-1 league loss to Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC). The Stallions record now stands at 1-8.
