The Valley Christian Defenders topped the host St. Anthony Saints volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Defenders now have a 17-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maranatha for a Olympic test on Tuesday, October 4. Valley Christian will confront a Minutemen team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Village Christian (Sun Valley, CA). The Minutemen record now stands at 11-19.

The Saints (12-8) will now prepare for their test against Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, CA). The Knights enter the Del Rey test with a 13-6 record. In their last test, Bishop Montgomery gained a win over Saint Joseph (Lakewood, CA), 3-2, in a league test.
