In Thursday's non-league contest, the Fort Osage Indians (Independence, MO) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Central Indians (St. Joseph, MO), by a margin of 11-3.
With the triumph, Fort Osage moves its record to 20-5 on the year. The Indians travel to Blue Springs (Blue Springs, MO) to play the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Monday, October 2. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 18-10. Blue Springs lost 9-2 in their recent non-league contest against Raymore-Peculiar (Peculiar, MO)
