South Pontotoc Cougars (Pontotoc, MS) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Byhalia Indians (Byhalia, MS), 3-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Cougars clash with the Ripley Tigers (Ripley, MS) in a non-league match, on Monday, October 2. South Pontotoc will attempt to advance on its 11-10 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 14-16 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Falkner (Falkner, MS).
With the loss, Byhalia drops to 3-16 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Senatobia (Senatobia, MS) to clash with the Warriors in a Class 4 Region 2 match on Tuesday, October 3. The Warriors come into the match with a record of 7-9.
