North Carolina High School Volleyball - East Wilkes edged by South Stokes

The South Stokes Sauras held off the visiting East Wilkes Cardinals volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's league test.

The Sauras now have a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Surry for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 3.

The Cardinals (3-13) will now prepare for their test against North Wilkes (Hays, NC). The Vikings enter the non-league test with a 13-3 record. In their last test, North Wilkes held off West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC), 3-2, in a league test.
