North Carolina High School Volleyball - East Wilkes over South Stokes

In Tuesday's league contest, the East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Cardinals battle the Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC) in a Northwest 1A contest, on Thursday, September 7. East Wilkes will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 5-3 record after their 3-0 league win over North Stokes (Danbury, NC).

With the loss, South Stokes moves to 3-6 on the year. The Sauras travel to East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC) to battle the Cardinals in a non-league contest on Thursday, September 7. The Cardinals go into the contest with a record of 8-0. East Surry won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC)
