The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Muir Mustangs (Pasadena, CA) and the visiting Hoover Tornados (Glendale, CA), saw Muir's volleyball squad beat Hoover by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Muir upgrades its record to 13-10 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Glendale (Glendale, CA) to play the Nitros in a Pacific bout on Friday, September 29. The Nitros go into the bout with a record of 16-6. Glendale won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Burbank (Burbank, CA)

The Tornados now own a 1-17 record. They play next when they host Pasadena for a Pacific bout on Tuesday, October 3. Hoover will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Arcadia (Arcadia, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-9.
