The Hoover Tornados volleyball team (Glendale, CA), went down 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Muir Mustangs (Pasadena, CA)

The Mustangs (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Lynwood (Lynwood, CA). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Lynwood went down by Artesia (Lakewood, CA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tornados encounter the Pasadena Bulldogs (Pasadena, CA) in a Pacific challenge, on Thursday, September 7. Hoover will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Northridge Academy (Northridge, CA).
