New Jersey High School Volleyball - South Plainfield tips St. Thomas Aquinas

South Plainfield Tigers (South Plainfield, NJ) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host St. Thomas Aquinas Trojans (Edison, NJ), 2-1 in a league match.

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders (Scotch Plains, NJ) in a non-league match, on Monday, October 2. South Plainfield will attempt to advance on its 4-7 season record.

With the loss, St. Thomas Aquinas drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Edison (Edison, NJ) to clash with the Eagles in a Greater Middlesex - White match on Friday, October 6. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 2-0.
