In their next game, the Toads face the Laguna Blanca Owls (Santa Barbara, CA) in a Tri-Valley (8 Man) challenge, on Saturday, October 5. Thacher will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Owls enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 20-16 non-league loss to San Luis Obispo Classical Academy (San Luis Obispo, CA).

The Lions (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against San Luis Obispo Classical Academy (San Luis Obispo, CA). The Grizzlies enter the Coast Valley (8 Man) challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, San Luis Obispo Classical Academy held off Laguna Blanca (Santa Barbara, CA), 20-16, in a non-league challenge.
