In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Venice Gondoliers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Culver City Centaurs.
The Gondoliers (22-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Crescenta Valley (La Crescenta, CA). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 22-6 record. In their last challenge, Crescenta Valley beat San Pedro (San Pedro, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Centaurs meet the Hawthorne Cougars (Hawthorne, CA) in a Ocean challenge, on Wednesday, October 2. Culver City will attempt to upgrade on its 18-6 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 0-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to Beverly Hills (Beverly Hills, CA).
