The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC) and the host Langtree Charter Lions (Mooresville, NC), saw Christ the King's volleyball squad beat Langtree Charter by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Christ the King upgrades its record to 15-2 on the year. The Crusaders host Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC) to play the Pride in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 4. The Pride go into the bout with a record of 7-5.

The Lions now have a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountain Island Charter for a non-league game on Tuesday, October 4.
