The Cuba/Spoon River Valley Wildcats topped the visiting Abingdon/Avon Tornadoes volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Wildcats now have a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Peoria Heights for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 4.

The Tornadoes (3-11) will now prepare for their test against Stark County (Toulon, IL). The Rebels enter the Lincoln Trail test with a 1-14 record. In their last test, Stark County fell by Wethersfield (Kewanee, IL), 2-0, in a league contest.
