The Golden Wave now have a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richlands for a non-league test on Monday, October 3. Grundy will confront a Blue Tornado team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Marion (Marion, VA). The Blue Tornado record now stands at 5-6.

The Bulldogs (1-9) will now prepare for their test against Graham (Bluefield, VA). The G-Men enter the Southwest test with a 5-8 record. In their last test, Graham gained a win over Bluefield (Bluefield, WV), 3-0, in a non-league test.
