    The A-D-M Tigers (Adel, IA) football routed the host Des Moines North Polar Bears (Des Moines, IA), 63-8 in Friday's league bout.

    In their next game, the Tigers face the Ballard Bombers (Huxley, IA) in a 4A District 5 bout, on Friday, October 6. A-D-M will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The Bombers enter the bout with a 2-5 record after their 7-6 league win over North Polk (Alleman, IA).

    The Polar Bears (1-5) will now prepare for their bout against Boone (Boone, IA). The Toreadors enter the 4A District 5 bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, Boone was overwhelmed by Indianola (Indianola, IA), 41-0, in a league bout.
