Texas High School Volleyball - Gilmer over Center

In Friday's league contest, the Gilmer Buckeyes (Gilmer, TX) volleyball squad were winner over the host Center Roughriders (Center, TX), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Buckeyes face the Henderson Lions (Henderson, TX) in a 4A Region III District 17 contest, on Tuesday, October 3. Gilmer will attempt to better on its 18-18 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 21-11 record after their 3-0 league win over Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX).

With the loss, Center moves to 13-19 on the year. The Roughriders host Spring Hill (Longview, TX) to face the Panthers in a 4A Region III District 17 contest on Tuesday, October 10. The Panthers go into the contest with a record of 30-4.
